Almost Kings formed out of Atlanta, GA in 2008 by vocalist Bryan Bozeman and guitarist Ryan Yunker, and immediately hit the road for 2+ years supporting Rehab. Quickly establishing a reputation for high-paced & unrelenting crowd-involved live performances, the band continued to tour independently around the U.S., performing 200-250 shows each year from 2009 - 2014. AK has headlined countless shows, and has supported a wide variety of acts from Avenged Sevenfold to Yelawolf to Sevendust to The Lacs.
in 2012, Almost Kings won a nationwide CBS-sponsored, fan-driven contest and performed at the Grammys, becoming the first independent & unsigned rock act to do so. In 2014, they landed a performance at the ESPN X-Games with Kanye West, Mac Miller, and Slightly Stoopid. The band followed up with a nationwide, nearly sold-out tour supporting Bone Thugs 'n Harmony.
After five independently successful albums and a few lineup changes, AK finds themselves at the next phase of their music career. The AK brand continues to thrive & be recognized, and the grassroots-built fanbase continues to grow hungry for more. AK tapped a new market during the Atlanta Falcons' 2017 Super Bowl run with their song "ATL Has Risen" being heard at NRG Stadium in Houston, which helped lead to AK performing multiple pre-game concerts for the Falcons during the 2017-2018 football season.
In a world where positivity is harder and harder to find, music remains the ultimate outlet of good vibes, freedom of speech & expression, and unity. AK will continue to deliver music, unity, and live performance experiences that will undoubtedly always give the fan their money's worth.
